Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team at Nussbaum Group. As a key member of our landscape construction team, you will be responsible for leading a team of dedicated professionals through the entire project life-cycle, from pre-construction planning to closeout and transition to maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Management: Collaborate with Construction Project Managers to develop project estimates and budgets, and prepare and manage project schedules.
  • Site Operations: Oversee and orchestrate day-to-day construction site activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Team Leadership: Display strong leadership and ability to work alongside team members, mentoring and training them for skill development and increased responsibility.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Safety and Compliance: Proactively establish and support a positive commitment to safety on the jobsite, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years' professional landscape experience, with a degree in landscape architecture, horticulture, or a similar field a plus.
  • A minimum of 1 year supervising, coaching, or developing team members is required.
  • Experience working with irrigation is a plus.
  • Proven ability to read plans and specifications required.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with bilingual Spanish a plus.
  • Proficiency working with Microsoft Office and time and attendance software.
  • Must be in good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Valid WA driver's license.
  • Must be able to effectively collaborate across all departments.
