Job Summary:

The GIS Systems Administrator will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining GIS software architecture and infrastructure plans for our GIS systems. This includes planning, monitoring, and administering system usage, coordinating database interaction with other systems and applications, advising and training system users on GIS methods and techniques, and working in a collaborative environment to coordinate with developers, designers, testers, and project managers regarding GIS needs and projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement GIS architecture and hardware and software infrastructure plans for GIS systems.
  • Plan, monitor, and administer system usage and coordinate database interaction with other systems and applications.
  • Advise and train system users on GIS methods and techniques.
  • Work in a collaborative environment and coordinate with developers, designers, testers, and project managers regarding GIS needs and projects.
Requirements:
  • MUST HAVE experience with ArcGIS Software and Server Administration.
  • MUST HAVE experience with Database Servers.
  • SQL preferred (open to Oracle).
  • MUST HAVE experience creating and maintaining Web Adapters.
