Job Summary:

The Certified Dietary Manager is a key member of our Food & Nutrition Services Department at Macon HealthCare Center, a family-oriented Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in Macon, Georgia. We are seeking an energetic and motivated individual to lead our team in providing exceptional food and nutrition services to our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Food & Nutrition Services Department, ensuring seamless operations and high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement effective schedules, inventory management, and food ordering systems to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Provide ongoing education and training to staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge in food service management.
  • Collaborate with the Registered Dietitian to develop and implement clinical nutrition programs and services.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for food safety and quality.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience as a Certified Dietary Manager is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of food safety and quality standards, as well as regulatory requirements.
