We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at UNC Health. As a key member of our Diagnostic Radiology department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and diagnostic imaging services.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct routine procedures and tests using radiology equipment to acquire patient diagnostic data.
- Prepare for and assist radiologists in completing intricate radiographic procedures, including preparation and administration of contrast media and medications.
- Perform patient assessments and provide patient care, evaluating the appropriateness of examinations and assessing the quality of radiographic images.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure accurate and timely completion of imaging procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to departmental protocols and policies.
- Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Sciences or registry eligible and become registered within one year from date of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
