Youth Care Specialist

At Youth Opportunity Investments, LLC, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in empowering youth to achieve success and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise a group of 7-10 youth, maintaining knowledge of their whereabouts and ensuring their safety and security.
• Provide a safe and secure environment using group counseling techniques, individual relationships, and positive discipline methods.
• Represent each youth's problems, needs, and accomplishments to the treatment team and provide progress reports.
• Assist classroom teachers in delivering subject matter and transferring class content to the living units.
• Document daily shift occurrences and frequent population counts as required by local and corporate policy.

Requirements:

• Two years of college coursework in a social or human service field preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years' work experience working with youth preferred.
