Residential Shift Supervisor - Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct personnel during assigned shifts, ensuring effective operation of all functional areas of the facility.
• Develop and implement work schedules, distribute duties among personnel, and arrange for additional personnel as needed.
• Coordinate youths' appointments and transports, intake/discharge procedures, and ensure compliance with state rules and regulations.
• Ensure security of facility areas, conduct security checks, and monitor electronic door locks and security communication devices.
• Administer medication and maintain accurate documentation regarding prescription medication to youth.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma Required. Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
• Minimum of three years of experience working with children with serious emotional disturbances or substance abuse problems in a residential setting.
• Prior supervisory experience in related settings is preferred.

Skills:

• Effective verbal and communication skills with co-workers, other stakeholder departments, Probation Officers, caseworkers, law enforcement, and court personnel.
• Ability to supervise, direct, monitor, and appropriately interact with youth, and diplomatically deal with sensitive situations.

Physical Demands:

• Must be in good physical health, emotionally stable, and be able to move about the property.
• Must be able to participate in youth activities, transport youth or staff, and maintain a safe driving record.
