About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Outpatient Psychotherapist to join our team at Loma Linda University Medical Center. As a key member of our Behavioral Medicine Center, you will provide high-quality clinical services to patients in need of mental health support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct clinical services, including individual and group therapy sessions
  • Participate in case management and discharge planning to ensure seamless patient care
  • Collaborate with the treatment team and collateral contacts to deliver comprehensive patient services
  • Provide clinical supervision to pre-licensed staff, ensuring they receive the support and guidance needed to excel in their roles
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in psychotherapy, incorporating this knowledge into your work to provide the highest level of care
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or a related field
  • Current BBS license and a minimum of two years of experience in a behavioral health care setting
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong problem-solving and crisis intervention skills, with the ability to work calmly under pressure
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple assignments effectively
