About Us:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that supplier systems, processes, and capabilities align with Hexagon Agility's design intent and performance standards.
  • Engage with supply chain teams to prioritize the development needs of existing suppliers to enhance quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Conduct thorough reviews and assessments of supplier processes through site visits and self-audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Identify and manage improvement initiatives utilizing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, along with supplier scorecards and audits.
  • Monitor key performance indicators for suppliers to ensure they consistently meet or exceed expectations.
  • Foster positive relationships with sourcing leaders and cross-functional teams to assist suppliers in implementing new product introductions and design modifications.
  • Deliver measurable results in areas such as incoming quality, field defect rates, and supplier engagement.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and reports regarding supplier performance.
  • Communicate supplier performance metrics internally and externally to promote collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee supplier root cause analysis and corrective actions to ensure effective and sustainable solutions.
  • Coordinate and participate in supplier meetings related to performance management, product development, and cost reduction strategies.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or Program Management.
  • Proven track record in vendor qualification and management.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality management systems.
  • Knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience:
  • Five years of experience in quality management, engineering, purchasing, or production preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Travel Requirements:
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, both domestically and internationally.
