About Us:
Hexagon Agility is a prominent global provider of clean fuel solutions, focusing on facilitating the shift from traditional diesel to cleaner fuel alternatives in the transportation sector. Our technology is designed to support hard-to-decarbonize segments, including trucks and buses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that supplier systems, processes, and capabilities align with Hexagon Agility's design intent and performance standards.
- Engage with supply chain teams to prioritize the development needs of existing suppliers to enhance quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct thorough reviews and assessments of supplier processes through site visits and self-audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Identify and manage improvement initiatives utilizing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, along with supplier scorecards and audits.
- Monitor key performance indicators for suppliers to ensure they consistently meet or exceed expectations.
- Foster positive relationships with sourcing leaders and cross-functional teams to assist suppliers in implementing new product introductions and design modifications.
- Deliver measurable results in areas such as incoming quality, field defect rates, and supplier engagement.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and reports regarding supplier performance.
- Communicate supplier performance metrics internally and externally to promote collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Oversee supplier root cause analysis and corrective actions to ensure effective and sustainable solutions.
- Coordinate and participate in supplier meetings related to performance management, product development, and cost reduction strategies.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or Program Management.
- Proven track record in vendor qualification and management.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality management systems.
- Knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience:
- Five years of experience in quality management, engineering, purchasing, or production preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Travel Requirements:
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, both domestically and internationally.
