Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare human tissue for examination and diagnosis
- Conduct gross descriptions and dictations of tissue specimens
- Assist pathologists in the dissection and examination of tissue specimens
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of tissue specimens and examination results
Requirements:
- Pathologist Assistant - PA ASCP Certificate
- Completion of an accredited Pathologist Assistant program
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment
