Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodial Worker to join our team at the Ohio State Government. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized workspace, including dusting, mopping, and vacuuming.
  • Operate cleaning equipment and machinery, such as floor buffers and carpet shampooers.
  • Restock supplies and materials as needed.
  • Assist with special events and projects as required.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in custodial work or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
