Job Description
As a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT), you will play a crucial role in supporting our patients' daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting a positive treatment experience. This is a full-time position, working 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday, 12am-8:30am).

Responsibilities
• Provide direct care and support to patients, including supervision, guidance, and support
• Ensure adherence to clinical schedules and communicate any issues to the treatment team
• Transport clients as needed, adhering to safety protocols and regulations
• Conduct regular facility rounds to ensure overall safety and security
• Proactively seek out contraband and report any suspicions or findings to supervisors
• Foster a supportive environment that promotes ethical treatment and respect for patient rights

Requirements
• Current certification in CPR, Verbal De-Escalation, HIPAA, HIV/AIDS, Incident Reporting, Infection Control, Overdose Prevention, and Self-Administration of Medications (when applicable)
• CLIA waived training and proficiency in conducting and collecting samples for tests
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under stressful conditions and adapt to changing department needs
• Knowledge of TJC standards within the Department and State/Federal Statutes regarding Patient Confidentiality Laws
