Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

Complete EMR intake and review H&P for new patients
Escort patients to rooms and provide medical assistance as needed
Assist with physical therapy requests, off-work requests, and school notes
Document on encounter forms and review for completeness and accuracy
Receive and reply to medical-related messages and prescription requests
Communicate with physicians and staff to ensure seamless patient care
Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and order medical supplies as needed
Assist with medical records filing and disposal of expired medications
Facilitate scheduling outpatient testing and pre-certification for MRI, CT, and other tests
Ensure exam rooms and clinic work areas are clean and tidy at all times
May require travel and follow-up with local radiologists

Requirements:

Ability to frequently hear and communicate orally, see up close and at a distance, read and comprehend, stand, sit, walk, reach, handle, and/or feel objects
Must be able to climb, pull, push, squat, and/or kneel
Ability to demonstrate exercises properly without unassisted lift = 50 lbs. Average lift 25-50 lbs.

Work Environment:
