Job Title: RN/Cardiac Cath Lab

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care and collaborate with patients, family members, peers, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Implement and evaluate medical and nursing regimens in accordance with hospital policies and standards
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with current New York registration
  • Baccalaureate in Nursing (BSN) required for all external RNs hired on or after January 1st, 2018
  • One year of acute care nursing experience preferred
  • BLS certification required
  • ACLS certification required for all RNs, except for NICU and OR RNs
  • PALS certification required for all RNs working in the PACU, 5I Pediatrics, Emergency Department, Armonk Urgent Care, and Ambulatory Surgery
  • NRP certification required for all RNs working in the Mother-Baby unit, Labor and delivery, and NICU
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of current nursing, medical, and health trends and practices
  • Leadership skills and commitment to professional accountability and growth
