RN - Ambulatory Care Nurse - Full Time

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Device Registered Nurse in our Ambulatory Care department. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care and work closely with physicians to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in an atmosphere sensitive to each person's physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs.
- Work directly with physicians to provide all nursing support for patient care.
- Document lead and device performance, including anomalous behavior and/or malfunction of device system components.
- Utilize clinical information and computer systems effectively, including internet and Intranet, time-keeping system, and other systems appropriate to the area.
- Take responsibility to facilitate improvements in patient services, staff/physician relationships, and the working climate.
- Perform or assist with cardiac rhythm management device evaluation via device interrogation and analysis of data.
- Facilitate optimal clinical effectiveness of the device through the application of technical knowledge and skills to evaluate device function.
- Plan and implement appropriate device surveillance at intervals based on individual patient requirements and recommended guidelines.
- Assist in the orientation of new staff and support students' experiences as requested.
- Graduate from a credited School of Nursing.
- Minimum of 3 years of cardiology experience preferred (critical care, ED, cardiology office, cardiac cath).
