Job Title:

Physical Therapist - Pelvic Health and Orthopedic Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Spaulding Rehabilitation. The ideal candidate will have experience in pelvic health and orthopedic physical therapy, with a strong focus on providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and evaluate patients' physical therapy needs, developing and implementing treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care, including education and training for patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Manage technical, environmental, and financial resources effectively, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services.
  • Document patient progress, revise treatment plans as needed, and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide orientation, training, and mentorship to therapy and healthcare students, promoting professional growth and development.
  • Identify and implement performance improvement opportunities, upholding the highest standards of care and quality.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Licensed (and in good standing) as a physical therapist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Basic skills in math and computer science.
  • Appropriate knowledge of physical therapy evaluation and treatment techniques for managing the rehabilitation population.
  • Computer proficiency, with Microsoft Office applications preferred.

  • Highly developed communications and interpersonal skills, with experience working with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work independently, be self-directed, and contribute as a member of a team.
  • Anticipates challenges and develops strategies for addressing them.
  • High level of service delivery, with a focus on initiative, prioritization, and adaptability.
