Land Entitlements Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Land Entitlements Manager to oversee due diligence for new acquisitions and manage the engineering and entitlements process for new communities. As part of our team, you will coordinate with consultants and municipalities to ensure zoning and engineering submittals are approved in accordance with production time-frames and specifications.

Responsibilities
  • Manage coordination with City, County, and Federal agencies to maintain regulatory compliance for entitlements and environmental issues.
  • Work with city officials, consultants, and community action groups to obtain necessary public approvals and permits.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to facilitate the development process.
  • Schedule and supervise the activities of consultants and subcontractors to ensure necessary approvals and adherence to development schedules.
  • Coordinate with attorneys to prepare and review development agreements and related agreements with regulatory agencies.
  • Represent the division at Public Hearings and meetings to obtain necessary development and construction approvals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Land Planning, Engineering, or Environmental Science.
  • Strong knowledge of State and Federal developmental and environmental laws, local municipal planning, zoning requirements, civil engineering, and land planning.
  • Advanced PC skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent analytical and writing capabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong work ethic and teamwork.

$83,000 - $110,000 per year
