UTRS Advanced Manufacturing, LLC is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality parts.
Key Responsibilities- CNC Operations: Program, edit, and run parts on 4-axis machines independently, operate multiple machines as needed, and complete in-process inspections.
- Gibbs Programming: Experience with Gibbs programming is a plus.
- Machine Maintenance: Maintain CNC machines, including basic maintenance, and workspace professionalism.
- Quality Control: Inspect parts coming off CNC machines for visual defects and workmanship, and maintain traceability on material alloys and raw materials.
- Teamwork: Work and communicate effectively with a team of engineers and machinists to efficiently complete assigned tasks.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Skills: Good mechanical skills, experience with milling/turning MFG, solid knowledge of shop mathematics, and basic PC knowledge.
- Education: High school diploma required; college degree not required but beneficial.
- Other: Must be a US Citizen, have a valid driver's license, and be able to work in a physical capacity, lifting and moving heavy objects.
