Position Overview

The Radiologic Technician is responsible for conducting a range of diagnostic imaging procedures within the Radiology department, ensuring high-quality patient care under the guidance of a qualified Radiologist.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain radiographic equipment to perform imaging examinations.
  • Prepare the examination area, ensuring all necessary supplies and medications are available.
  • Deliver patient services by utilizing established positioning techniques and technical factors.
  • Manage inventory and facilitate patient flow within the Radiology department.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Registration as a Radiologic Technologist or eligibility for registry.
  • Ability to safely operate radiographic equipment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Licensure and Certification

Candidates must be registered or eligible for registration as a Radiologic Technologist and hold an active BLS certification.
