Parking Cashier Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Parking Cashier to join our team at McAllen International Airport. As a Parking Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling cash transactions, and ensuring a safe and secure work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a cash register and handle cash transactions with accuracy and precision.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ensure proper ticket handling and guest payments, maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Work closely with fellow team members, Operations Manager, and/or Shift Supervisor to ensure cash handling procedures and safety standards are met.
  • Perform revenue drops, reconcile receipts, cash, and charges, and accurately account for all funds within the cashier drawer.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Communicate professionally with guests, clients, and teammates, and report any accidents, incidents, or safety concerns to Operations Manager or Shift Lead.
Requirements:
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and use sound decision-making to thrive in fast-paced environments.
  • Basic math skills and experience with cash handling is an asset.
  • Previous customer service experience is preferred.
