About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CDL driver to join our team at Airgas Inc. As a CDL driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering compressed gas cylinders to local and regional business customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safety of our fleet and customers.
  • Load and unload gas cylinders and supplies from our trucks daily.
  • Maintain courteous and professional relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Make deliveries in a timely manner, adhering to our commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Safely strap and unstrap cylinders, ensuring they are secure during transport.
  • Make deliveries on customer property sites, using a hand cart to transport cylinders.
Requirements
  • Valid Class A CDL or B CDL with HAZMAT and Airbrake endorsements.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license, medical card, and endorsements.
  • No more than two traffic convictions or two at-fault accidents in the last three years.
  • No driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last seven years.
  • Ability to work in a drug-free environment.
  • Physical ability to regularly lift 75lbs and move more than 125lbs with the aid of material handling equipment.
