Job Summary
St. Mary's General Hospital is seeking a skilled Diet Clerk to provide clinical support functions related to approving therapeutic menu selections and ensuring accuracy and appropriate temperatures of patient trays. Under the direction of the dietitian, this role will perform necessary clinical support functions to ensure high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Approve therapeutic menu selections and ensure accuracy and appropriate temperatures of patient trays
- Work under the direction of the dietitian to provide clinical support functions
Qualifications
- AA degree in Food Science/Nutrition preferred
- One (1) year of healthcare experience working with modified diets preferred
- County Specific Food Handlers certification required upon hire and maintained current
