- Conduct tests to ensure systems and components are secure and functioning correctly.
- Identify systems or components that may have caused issues.
- Perform vehicle tests and inspect fluid levels, refilling as necessary.
- Verify tire pressure for proper inflation and maintain fittings through cleaning and lubrication.
- Install new oil drain plugs and filters, communicating oil levels to colleagues.
- Maintain high efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
- Proactively repair or replace worn parts to prevent vehicle breakdowns.
- Utilize power tools, machine tools, and hand tools for various tasks.
- Thorough understanding of automotive systems and rapid diagnostic skills.
- Strong analytical and communication abilities with a desire for continuous improvement.
- Capacity to learn new technologies, repair methods, and specifications.
- Proficient in operating electronic diagnostic tools.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- ASE Certification or Technical Degree is preferred.
- Minimum of one year experience in a service department.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
