Job Title: Automotive Service Advisor

We are seeking a highly organized and friendly Automotive Service Advisor to join our team at Hyundai of Kennesaw. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and provide the best possible customer experience from arrival to departure while executing all company processes and policies
  • Take ownership of the customer's experience by carrying out daily assignments that allow the dealership to leave a positive impression with the customer
  • Ensure customers are greeted in 1-2 minutes max, assess reason for visit, advise on mileage interval needs/prior recommendations/tires at time of write up
  • Provide and keep up with estimated wait times, ensure to keep customer updated on status when promised, and if /when circumstances change
  • Answer technical questions about vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs
  • Maintain Customer Success Index (CSI), is at or above Hyundai's requirement standards
  • Be deliberate and precise in initial repair order documentation of concerns to ensure the technician has all pertinent information to diagnose the vehicle
  • Ensure all extended warranty and or insurance jobs/claims. Help assist in keeping porters busy and guided in the right direction throughout the day
  • Maintain proper and prompt communication throughout vehicles visit at HOK. Recommend and explain in detail all tech recommendations in addition to initial concern which should always be addressed first and foremost. Any items addressed on the drive, and or after tech MPVI should be thoroughly explained for approval, including all pricing prior to work being done
  • Maintain professional working relationships with co-workers, including but not limited too assisting with help on their ro's should they be out or at lunch
  • Schedule is set, however this can change. Employees are expected to cover for other employees in the event of unexpected illness, and or vacation
