BIM Modeling Specialist

The role of the BIM Coordinator is essential within EMCOR Government Services. This position is tasked with ensuring the precision and quality of BIM modeling, coordination, and detailing under the guidance of the Project Lead.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, organize, and disseminate foundational models, point cloud scans, and pertinent files.
- Develop Revit families tailored to project specifications.
- Conduct tracing of point cloud scans to create clashable models.
- Execute modeling, coordination, and detailing as directed by the Project Lead.
- Generate fabrication and installation spool drawings for both shop and field applications.
- Oversee and distribute coordinated digital documents to the project team.
- Deliver accurate and high-quality models, drawings, and details within the designated project timeline.
Required Skills and Experience
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in modeling or detailing work is preferred.
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction design drawings.
- Proficient in Revit, Navisworks, and/or other comparable 3D modeling or CAD software.
- Experience with Bluebeam Revu is advantageous.
- Familiarity with the Office 365 suite of products.
- A High School diploma or GED is mandatory; an Associate's degree in drafting, design, or a related field is recommended.
- Demonstrated proficiency in effective communication in English is essential.
