About the Role

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Middlesex County is seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to serve as advocates for children in foster care. As a CASA volunteer, you will be a voice for these vulnerable children, ensuring their needs are met and their rights are protected.

Responsibilities
  • Meet with the child to understand their needs and circumstances
  • Communicate with the child's caregivers, teachers, and other professionals involved in their life
  • Make recommendations to the court to ensure the child's best interests are represented
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to the child
Requirements
  • Be at least 21 years old
  • Pass a background check
  • Commit to working with the child for at least 18 months
