About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fraud Strategy and Analytics Analyst to join our team at USAA. As a key member of our Financial Crimes department, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating financial risks across the organization.

Your primary responsibility will be to analyze complex data sets, develop predictive models, and provide actionable insights to inform business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives and implement effective solutions to prevent financial losses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain advanced analytical models to identify and mitigate financial risks
  • Analyze large data sets to identify trends and patterns, and provide insights to inform business decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives and implement effective solutions
  • Communicate complex analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders, and provide recommendations for business improvement
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the field of financial crimes and analytics
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as economics, finance, statistics, or mathematics
  • 4+ years of experience in data analytics, financial crimes, or a related field
  • Advanced knowledge of statistical modeling, data visualization, and data mining techniques
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
