At Guthrie, we prioritize a culture of patient-focused care, professional development, and work-life harmony. We are excited to welcome a dedicated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to our esteemed General Surgery Department, collaborating with our experienced surgical team.
Position Highlights:
- Experience: While prior experience is preferred, we warmly welcome newly graduated candidates who are passionate about General Surgery.
- Work Schedule: This full-time role involves a balanced pace, including both clinical outpatient evaluations and inpatient rounds.
- Patient Load: Anticipate seeing approximately 20-24 patients daily.
- Hours: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Continuing Medical Education: Enjoy 7 days of CME annually (including weekends) with a reimbursement of $1,700.
- Teaching Opportunities: Engage in teaching nursing students and serve as a preceptor for NP and PA students.
- Call Requirements: No call responsibilities.

- Support for licensure fees and DEA certificate renewals.
- A referral bonus of $10,000 for successful physician referrals.

- Annual compensation ranging from $110,000 to $115,000.
