Job Summary

The University of California, Riverside seeks a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Director to lead the Upward Bound Rialto/Colton-Joint program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and implementing all aspects of the program, including conceptualization, development, and implementation of services described in grant objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide pre-college services to at least 60 participants and their parents at three high schools in San Bernardino County.
  • Develop and implement program services to help participants develop academic skills and achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate with the Director to make decisions regarding allocations of funds for implementation of grant objectives.
  • Track and report program services provided to participants for the annual performance report.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in program management, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. You will also need to have current work authorization and be able to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements.

What We Offer

The University of California, Riverside offers a competitive salary range of $54,200 - $93,200 annually, with an expected pay scale of up to $57,000 annually. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package and a dynamic work environment.
