About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team of experts in fire protection. As a Fire Protection Technician, you will play a vital role in installing and maintaining life safety fire sprinkler systems that protect people and properties from fire-related hazards.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for reading blueprint drawings and specifications to ensure accurate installation of fire sprinkler systems.
  • Install residential fire sprinkler systems, including pipe, valves, fittings, risers, and sprinkler heads.
  • Maintain all standard operating procedures and quality control measures of the company.
  • Communicate any issues that may impact schedule, installation, or scope of work changes to your supervisor immediately.
  • Comply with all applicable safety policies and codes.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, shop, and work areas in excellent condition for maximum production and safety.
  • Perform required administrative tasks and prepare reports in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • A valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company standards.
  • Knowledge of NFPA Code and fire sprinkler principles is preferred.
  • The ability to read, understand, and interpret schematics and blueprints.
  • A commitment to excellence and high standards.
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow effectively.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and enthusiasm to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Acute attention to detail and ability to perform complex projects with general direction.
  • Understanding and adherence to written and verbal instructions.
  • Awareness of safety requirements and cautions.

What We Offer

Our estimated salary range for this position is $ $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
