Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Roofing Foreman to join our team at Tremco. As a Commercial Roofing Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our roofing projects, ensuring that they are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management
    • Conduct daily safety briefs with the sales team, customers, and crew to ensure a safe working environment.
    • Inspect and ensure all equipment, tools, and surroundings are safe and suitable for the project.
    • Complete daily hazard analysis forms and submit to supervisors as required.
  • Communication
    • Ensure all project communication is completed prior to the start of any project, including communication with sales reps, crew members, customers, and supervisors.
  • Operations
    • Manage crew start and end times, production rates, and ensure tools and materials are available to complete projects safely and efficiently.
    • Complete end-of-day and end-of-project walk-throughs to ensure quality repairs and address any issues prior to leaving the job site.
    • Send before and after pictures to sales reps and provide daily project status updates, including detailed work performed, materials consumed, and supplies purchased.
  • Inventory Management
    • Order, track, and monitor inventory, ensuring quarterly cycle counts are completed and submitted on time.
  • Quality Control
    • Review field service projects over $5,000 for pricing accuracy.
    • Submit projects over $20,000 to supervisors prior to submitting to sales reps or customers.
  • Team Management
    • Manage, monitor, and document performance of field resource reps, taking corrective measures as needed.
    • Consult with supervisors and HR as required.
Requirements
  • Minimum five years' experience in the commercial roofing industry.
  • Thorough knowledge of built-up, EPDM, PVC, and other forms of low-slope roofing systems, as well as metal and other steep slope roofing systems.
