About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Project Development Director to oversee the entire project development process, from initial concept to financial investment decision. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of the project development lifecycle for energy infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive project development strategy aligned with the company's overall goals
  • Lead and manage a team of project development professionals
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including investors, government agencies, and community groups
  • Provide informed inputs to the CFO organization for financial analysis of projects
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers and contractors
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential issues

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in project development, preferably in the energy and infrastructure sector
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to pre-FID
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Deep understanding of the project development lifecycle and industry best practices
