Job Title: Claims Coordinator

At Swift Transportation, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Claims Coordinator to join our team. As a Claims Coordinator, you will provide administrative support to the Claims Department, ensuring the smooth operation of our claims process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the Claims Department, including supplying information, producing correspondence, and performing administrative functions.
  • Process payments as directed by Claims Leadership and according to company policy.
  • Assist with directing internal and external incoming calls and/or taking phone messages.
  • Process and distribute mail, faxes, and reports to Claims Examiners.
  • Process and request police reports, photographs, and maintain logs.
  • Responsible for accurate statistical entry of all claims, check posting, voiding, or stop payment of checks in the AS400 computer system.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leader.
Requirements:
  • 1 year experience in a Claims department.
  • 2 years office experience.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Computer keyboarding; written and verbal communication; PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point, typing skills.
