Job Summary

Sutter Health is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist III to join our team on a per diem basis. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized nuclear medicine procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Competently perform nuclear medicine procedures to produce accurate and timely results.
  • Work independently, exercising sound judgment and clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, and policies to ensure patient privacy and safety.
  • Collaborate with peers and other healthcare providers to achieve departmental and corporate objectives.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of an educational program in Nuclear Medicine accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Educational Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology or the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
  • Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) or equivalent.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • 5 years of recent relevant experience in nuclear medicine.
Preferred Qualifications
  • General knowledge of diagnostic nuclear medicine principles, procedures, views, and equipment.
  • Ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
