Bachman's Inc is seeking a skilled Nursery Worker - Seasonal Position to join our team in the agricultural department. As a key member of our farm crew, you will be responsible for manually planting, cultivating, and harvesting a variety of crops, including vegetables, fruits, nuts, and horticultural specialties.

• Crop Management: Plant, cultivate, and harvest crops using hand tools such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, and knives.
• Soil Preparation: Till soil and apply fertilizers as needed to ensure optimal crop growth.
• Crop Maintenance: Transplant, weed, thin, or prune crops to promote healthy growth and maximize yields.
• Pest Management: Apply pesticides as necessary to protect crops from pests and diseases.
• Harvest and Handling: Clean, grade, sort, pack, unload, and load harvested products for distribution.

• Experience: 3 months of experience working in agriculture is required.
• Physical Demands: Must be able to perform physical job duties outdoors in a variety of weather conditions for 8-10 hours per day.
• Lifting and Moving: Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 100 lbs. on an occasional basis.
• Work Environment: Must be able to work with plants in a farm setting and work adjacent to or with nursery equipment, agricultural chemicals, and other related agricultural activities.

40 hours per week, with 0-15 hours of overtime per week as needed. Work hours are 8-10 hours per day, Monday-Saturday, with extended hours and Saturdays as needed.
