About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a highly skilled Nuclear Engineer to join our team at Framatome. As a Principal Core Thermal Hydraulics Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing and applying nuclear reactor thermal-hydraulic principles and models for plant safety analyses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and apply thermal-hydraulic models and principles to support plant safety analyses
  • Prepare and review engineering documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Support regular customer interactions and provide technical expertise as needed
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to resolve complex technical issues and develop high-quality solutions
  • Contribute to the development of new technologies and innovations in the field of nuclear energy
About the Team

You will be part of our PWR Core Design & Safety Analysis Department in the Fuel Business Unit, where you will work with a team of experienced engineers and scientists to deliver high-quality solutions to our customers.

Requirements
  • BS, MS, or PhD in Nuclear Engineering or a related field
  • At least 7 years of experience in engineering roles, preferably in the nuclear industry
  • Strong knowledge of thermal-hydraulic principles and models, as well as experience with nuclear industry systems and software
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
