We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to serve as a Unit Supervisor in our Hospice Support Services department. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for supervising, coordinating, and providing leadership to a team of licensed and non-licensed caregivers and support staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess daily patient care needs and develop patient care assignments for a team of caregivers and support staff.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members based on their assessed skills and abilities.
- Evaluate the care delivered by team members and provide feedback and coaching to improve performance.
- Participate in the hiring process for new staff members and make recommendations to the clinical leader.
- Collaborate with other members of the clinical team to plan and deliver high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing.
- One year of Hospice or Home Health experience preferred.
