Job Summary

The Facilities Operations Manager is responsible for maintaining our facilities' operational efficiency by performing preventative maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and promoting a culture of safety. This role requires continuous improvement of plant equipment to minimize unscheduled downtime and optimize efficiency.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Implement and execute PM programs and general maintenance tasks, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs.
  • Analyze and interpret electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics for troubleshooting and repair of all plant equipment.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of work performed using our current maintenance system and other reporting structures as determined by the supervisor.
  • Collaborate with the team to improve machine performance and standardized procedures.
  • Effectively communicate ideas verbally and in writing.
  • Perform basic facility maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure safe use of tools, adhere to OSHA standards, and follow PSC protocol.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent plus at least three years of related experience in a production environment.
  • Ability to read and comprehend safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Troubleshoot and repair machines efficiently.
  • Proficient in using a wide range of power tools.
  • Able to understand written, oral, or diagram-based instructions.
  • Familiarity with basic carpentry, plumbing, welding, HVAC, and electrical skills.
  • Understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical prints.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
