Key Responsibilities:
Professionally manage all incoming patient calls to the triage line.

Promptly return calls to patients who leave messages, addressing their inquiries and concerns.

Collect essential information to assist patients and review office notes, chart notes, etc., to provide accurate responses.

Document patient inquiries in the medical record.
Schedule patient appointments and distribute/route faxes, test results, referral letters, and other necessary documents.

Provide primary response, oversight, and support for patient calls and voicemail messages directed to the physician(s) and practice, including medical advice, prescription coordination, and appointment scheduling.

Act as a liaison between the physician and patient to ensure seamless coordination of care.
Maintain accurate correspondence for multiple physicians.
Prepare chart reports for various physicians.

Qualifications:

Skills and Experience:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a medical office setting is required.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
  • Familiarity with GE-Centricity software is preferred.
  • Prior experience with Electronic Health Records is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is advantageous but not required.
  • Ability to operate a computer and standard office equipment is necessary.
  • Capability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, team members, and colleagues.
  • Compliance with all HIPAA privacy and security regulations is required.

Education:
A valid LPN or Medical Assistant certification/degree along with a High School Diploma or GED is required. PIfacf6f35dc1a
