Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to identify and address student needs
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students, focusing on social and emotional development
  • Develop and implement social skills training programs to promote student success
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student strengths and areas for improvement
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed about student progress
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Provide crisis intervention and support to students and families in need
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Social Work or related field
  • Valid Illinois teaching certification or equivalent
  • Experience working with students with diverse needs and backgrounds
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other school personnel
