About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our Building Engineering Division in Rochester, NY. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing structural engineering services with a focus on new design, repair, and rehabilitation of constructed works.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine structural loading criteria and perform complex design calculations
  • Prepare structural specifications and produce construction documents using Revit (BIM)
  • Work closely with other engineering and architectural disciplines to deliver high-quality projects
  • Perform field investigations and document findings
  • Review shop drawings and respond to RFI's
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with structural coursework
  • Engineering in Training Certificate (E.I.T.) required
  • Master of Science degree in Structural Engineering preferred
  • 0 to 5 years of experience with concrete, steel, masonry, and/or wood design
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and structural engineering design software (RISA, SAP, and/or TSD)
