Job Description

**About the Role**

As a Part Time Retail Store Associate at Office Depot, you will play a vital role in driving our store's success in today's retail landscape. You will engage with customers in a friendly and knowledgeable manner, creating a positive shopping experience while driving sales.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Provide exceptional customer service by proactively acknowledging and engaging every customer
* Utilize and understand the selling program to promote the sale of the best solution as well as additional products and/or services
* Maintain awareness of planned advertisements, promotions, and sales and loyalty programs

**Store Operations Commitment**

* Consistently maintain store and print department appearance to company guidelines and keep a neat, clean, well-stocked environment
* Adhere to all standards related to signage labeling and merchandise presentation
* Follow the established sorting and stocking guidelines and complete freight processes

**Print and Tech Expertise**

* Work to continually develop personal selling skills and product knowledge through sales and service tools provided
* Continuously educate yourself in print and technology areas, up to and including designated certifications, if required

**Sales Techniques**

* Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and practices; and support the company's loss prevention efforts
* Perform other duties as assigned

**Requirements**

* High School diploma or equivalent education preferred
* No previous experience required
* Must possess basic computer skills and the ability to use computers and technology for information, and to access information necessary to complete the job
* Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills which are necessary to establish a selling relationship with clients and other associates

**Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule**

Compensation Range = Minimum $14.50 to Maximum $15.50

You will be eligible to participate in the Retail Store Hourly Non-Management Incentive - a program measured on Store-level Metrics; paid in accordance with the Incentive Plan terms and conditions.
