ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Host, your primary responsibility is to warmly welcome guests, seat them at tables, present menus, and respond to inquiries about menu items, making recommendations as requested. Additionally, you will engage with guests to deliver a high level of hospitality in our dining areas.

As the restaurant host, your duties will include:
  • Delivering exceptional service consistently by adhering to Sally's Steps of Service.
  • Greeting guests in a friendly and inviting manner upon arrival, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience.
  • Maintaining an organized seating chart to maximize table turnover and ensure efficient service.
  • Engaging in conversation with guests to ensure their comfort while waiting.
  • Communicating wait times to guests and managing a waiting list as necessary.
  • Handling reservations, including taking bookings over the phone or in person.
  • Answering phone calls for take-out orders and addressing incoming guest inquiries.
  • Escorting guests to their tables, providing menus, and addressing any initial questions.
  • Demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of the menu.
  • Receiving and recording guests' dining reservations.
  • Providing excellent customer service.
  • Managing guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Completing assigned side work promptly.
  • Conducting restroom checks throughout service.
  • Maintaining a clean and sanitary host station and lobby area.
  • Assisting in keeping a clean and sanitary workplace.
  • Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and sanitation guidelines.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Language Skills
  • English
  • Basic Spanish (preferred but not mandatory)
