Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Mission Box Solutions. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications in our hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Medication Management: Prepare and dispense medications per physician orders, accurately interpreting and transcribing drug orders into patient medication records.
  • Pharmaceutical Care: Monitor drug therapy for safety, contraindications, and interactions, providing clinical consultation to healthcare providers and offering drug education to patients and their families.
  • Clinical Interventions: Participate in clinical interventions, including IV to PO conversions, renal dosing, and pharmacokinetic support, to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Supervise and direct pharmacy technicians, engage in interdisciplinary rounds, and collaborate with healthcare teams to improve patient care.
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or BS in Pharmacy
  • Hospital or acute care experience required
  • Pharmacy registration in the state of practice with state licensure within 60 days of start date
  • BLS or ACLS and PALS (pediatric practice) certifications within 180 days of start date
