Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring team members' machines and work areas are tidy and efficient.
  • Oversee the performance of the team, focusing on efficiency, indirect costs, quality, safety, and 6S metrics.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including programming, tooling, and engineering, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members to provide performance feedback and coaching.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in machining, with at least two years in a supervisory capacity, demonstrating proven success.
  • Strong machining background, with experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, drawings, routing instructions, manuals, specifications, or sample parts.
  • Ability to select, align, and secure work holding, and improvise setups using common tooling.
  • Experience with monitoring and developing speed, feed, depth, or angle of cut during machining operations.
  • Proficiency in verifying machined details meet print or router specifications, using precision measuring instruments.
