We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Project Lead to join our team at RCM Technologies. As a key member of our R&D department, you will be responsible for leading technical projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and exceeding customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute technical project plans, including research, development, and testing of new products and technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and marketing, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct literature searches and analyze technical papers, patents, and other relevant documents to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
- Provide technical support to customers, sales, and marketing teams, ensuring accurate and timely responses to technical inquiries.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including reports, presentations, and training materials.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation and growth.
- Master's or Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or related field.
- At least 5 years of industrial experience in a technical project leadership role, with a strong background in materials science and engineering.
- Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with thermoplastic and thermoset polymers, including (poly)olefins, polyesters, polyurethanes, (poly)siloxanes, hot-melts, thermal-cured and UV/EB-curable resin compositions, super-absorbents, and composite materials.
- Fluency in using contemporary software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and DOE/optimization software like Minitab or other similar tools.
