Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Department Coordinator. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for promoting an exceptional customer experience, leading a team of Associates, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by example, demonstrating outstanding customer service and promoting a positive internal and external customer experience
  • Oversee a team of Associates, providing guidance, training, and coaching to ensure excellent customer service and sales floor execution
  • Assign registers, support POS coverage needs, and coordinate breaks for all Associates
  • Address customer concerns and issues promptly, ensuring a positive customer experience
  • Communicate effectively with management and Associates, prioritizing tasks and providing progress updates
  • Partner with Management to identify and address training needs, ensuring Associate effectiveness
  • Ensure adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures
  • Promote credit and loyalty programs, supporting store shrink reduction goals and programs
  • Promote safety awareness and maintain a safe environment
Requirements
  • Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
  • Strong understanding of merchandising techniques and ability to multitask
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail
  • Able to respond effectively to changes in direction or unexpected situations
  • Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
  • Able to train others and demonstrate leadership skills
  • 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience

This position has a starting pay range of $17.00 to $17.50 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
