Pediatric Specialists of Virginia - Registered Dietitian Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our Pulmonary Medicine Clinic team in Fairfax, VA. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide safe and effective nutritional care to our pediatric patients with lung and breathing-related conditions.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop individualized plans of care
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to integrate nutrition care into comprehensive patient plans
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and families on nutrition and healthy lifestyle habits
  • Participate in planning and developing nutrition-related policies and procedures
  • Assist with documentation and record-keeping as needed
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field
  • Registered as a Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
  • At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of experience working in a pediatric medical group or healthcare setting
  • CSP certification
  • Prior experience with Electronic Medical Records systems
