Job Title: Automation Engineer

Veranova L P is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join our team. As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of automation systems for our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop automation systems for manufacturing processes, including PLC programming, HMI development, and DCS configuration.
  • Implement and maintain existing automation systems, including troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and implement automation solutions.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for automation systems, including user manuals and technical specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including cGMP.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical or Electrical Engineering (or related field) with a minimum of 5 years of experience, or a minimum of 10 years of practical experience.
  • Experience in operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and programming of PLCs, HMIs, and DCS.
  • Experience in the fields of process control and automation with project management experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
