University Radiology, a leading provider of specialized radiology and teleradiology services in New Jersey, boasts a team of over 180 Board Certified radiologists with advanced training and expertise across all imaging modalities and subspecialties.
With a legacy spanning more than six decades, University Radiology offers staffing, management, and both preliminary and final interpretations along with consultative support for hospitals, imaging centers, and various medical facilities. Additionally, we serve as the academic radiology faculty at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, interpreting over 2.1 million radiology procedures annually.
Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a per diem MRI Technologist Support Specialist to join our Imaging Office team.
- Assist MRI Technologists in ensuring efficient patient flow
- Engage with patients and prepare them for imaging examinations
- Coordinate patient films and reports
- Maintain and stock necessary supplies
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills are essential
- Previous experience in a medical office is advantageous, though not mandatory
- Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus, but not required
- Enrollment in a recognized radiologic technology program is highly regarded
