Diagnostic Medical and Vascular Sonographer

AdventHealth is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical and Vascular Sonographer to join our team at AdventHealth Outpatient Imaging. As a Diagnostic Medical and Vascular Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing general Sonography and Vascular Sonography procedures in accordance with department protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures on neonatal through geriatric patients.
  • Assist physicians with interventional procedures.
  • Select practical applications and technical factors.
  • Be knowledgeable in and carry out all applicable processes of the department.
  • Assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures.
  • Participate in the AdventHealth performance improvement program.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of Ultrasound Program.
  • American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) specialty examinations: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) - Abdomen (AB), Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) - Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN), Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) – Vascular (VT).
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in healthcare-related field (preferred).
